Rev. Patrick Streeter grew up in Madison, Alabama where he spent most of his life. He was born in India and was adopted by a family when he was six months old. Patrick grew up attending First Baptist Church in Madison, Alabama. Patrick received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Strayer University in 2012 and is currently enrolled at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Nashville, Tennessee. Patrick served on the Ministerial staff at Trinity Baptist Church in Madison, Alabama for four years before coming to Weatherly in July 2013. Patrick also spent four summers working in camp ministry at Ridgecrest Summer Camps in North Carolina. Patrick also has an extensive background in Non-Profit Management. He has served on several non-profit boards. In October 2016, Patrick transitioned into the new role of Minister of Families with Children and Youth at Weatherly.
As the Minister of Families at Weatherly, Patrick is very passionate about children’s and youth ministry and hopes that these ministries at Weatherly will be relational. He hopes that each and every student will develop their own personal relationship with Christ but also learn to grow in their relationship with others. Patrick feels that we are called to “love others, no matter what they do.” The greatest commandment is to love our God and then to love others. It is Patrick’s hope that each youth will feel the unconditional love and grace that is freely given while here at Weatherly but also have the opportunity to show that same love and grace unto others.
